It's hard to believe that it's already Thanksgiving.  "Turkey Time" at the beach - a special time for all of us and we hope you share our thanks to you for all you continue to mean to both of us.  It's also hard to believe that we're celebrating our first anniversary at the Pawleys Island store in the Village Shops.  We've made so many new friends there as well as the many friends we have at the Surfside Beach store and we are truly thankful for all of you.

This is a special time of year for everyone.  It's a time to reflect and be thankful for all our blessings.  Nick and I are truly blessed not only with all of you, our friends and customers, but our own families as well.  Between the two of us we have four wonderful sons, a spirited and talented daughter-in-law and Nick has a beautiful, precocious granddaughter that is a true princess.

For all of these things we offer thanks and share our wishes for all of you who visit our  stores to just talk, or scrap or even shop to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Every person who stops by the store, attends one of our special events or retreats, and even the ones who happen to see Nick's messy office - you're all very special to us.

RETREATS
As you all know the 4th Annual Crazy Chocolate Crop is SOLD OUT with a waiting list. But we've added the Snowman Lovers Weekend in February so everyone will be able to enjoy a scrappin Winter Weekend at the beach.  Thanks so much to, to Bass Pro Shops and The Whispering Pines Golf Course for helping us make this one a truly unique weekend not only for our scrappers but for their special someone too.  Oh, and Im sure there'll be some chocolate somewhere around during this special weekend.  For more information you can go to the web site, www.scrapbooksbythesea.com , and click on the RETREATS button to see what the weekend will hold in store for you.  You can register online or call the Surfside Beach store for more information, 843-232-0033.

CLASSES
Classes are held each Monday at 6PM at the Surfside Beach store and ever Tuesday at 6PM in the Pawleys Island store.  Please remember to bring your basic kits which should include a trimmer, scissors, ruler, adhesives, eyelet tool, chalks, pop dots and glue dots and a black pen.  This month's classes will include a little bit of everything including the kitchen sink!

November 11th, Veteran's Day
Join as at both stores on Veteran's Day for a FREE Patriotic make 'n take.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
The NEW Christmas papers and embellishments have already begun arriving, including the newest, hottest - metallic papers which look sooooo cool!

Speaking of Christmas, reserve your space NOW for Saturday, December 10th for a fun-filled Christmas Work Shop.  It will take place in the Surfside Beach store at 1:00PM.  We'll be creating a beautiful layout using templates, chalks, and loads of different embellishments.  Yes, you get to keep the reusable template as part of the work shop plus we'll be making two additional unique holiday embellishments that will be perfect for those Christmas pages.  The cost is $15.00 per person, and you must pay at the time of registration. You will need your basic kit to include trimmer, chalks, scissors and adhesives.  We'll supply the templates, papers, attachments and all.  The space and work shop size is limited so reserve your spot early by calling the Surfside Beach store at 843-232-0033.
