National Scrapbook Day

Plan to join us for The Party By The Sea as we celebrate National Scrapbook Day on Saturday, May 6th  from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at the M Grande Resort & Spa. We will have goodie bags, classes. make-n-takes, door prizes and 12 hours of croppin’ fun! A delicious lunch and dinner will be served on the deck. Retreats

We are NOW booking for the 2006-2007 season. The entire line-up for 2006-2007 is on the website now.  As we open up the booking you will be able to click directly to the registration page from the retreats page, or check out the entire retreat by going directly to it from retreats.  Check the website because a couple of them are already nearly full. The Flip Into Spring Retreat sold out and many of you have called wanting to come. Thanks to all of you who have attended our retreats this past winter, it’s your continued support that gave a totally sold out season in 2005-2006.  Our events do book  fast  so if you would like to attend one, register online or call us as soon as it is posted on the website.

Designing Day

Thanks so much to the “scrappy girls” in Florence for inviting us for A Designing Day. It was so much fun and I even made it there and back without getting a ticket! We are planning more Designing Days. If your group would like for us to come to your area, call the store for more info. (Watch for a Designing Day in Pawleys Island  soon)

 

 

 

Bass Pro Shop

Thanks to Bass Pro Shop for another fun day at the North Myrtle Beach store. We have been invited to participate in more of their special events in the next few months. We will keep you informed on the details so you can stop by and visit with us!

Classes

Classes are held every Monday at Surfside Beach and each Tuesday at Pawleys Island. Please bring you “basics” with you to class. If you are a “newbie” or a visitor to our area, join us even if you do not have supplies. We have a “share basket” that you may use.

New Products

New products are arriving daily at both stores. We have so many new beach and vacation papers, and embellishments we may need to knock out another wall. I am just kidding about the wall! Been there…done that! Our new page kits have begun arriving. They are beautiful and not your typical layouts with just a couple of pieces of paper and a sticker. These kits include everything from the papers to embellishments. We include speciality lasers and unique items and charms for you to complete beautiful layouts for your vacation memories. You will only find these designer kits at  Scrapbooks By The Sea. Speaking of  “designer”, we have a new designer and manufacturer from Atlanta that has come up with terrific paper piecing and page kits just for us! You are going to love all of the new things.

Myrtle Beach Pavillion

Many of you already know that this will be the last season that the Pavillion will be open. It is always sad to see a landmark close. We will have everything that you need to preserve the special times that you and your family have enjoyed there. We have a special section filled with kits, embellishments and papers for the Pavillion as well as all of the other attractions that the beach has to offer.

 

If you love to scrap, don’t be left barefoot in the sand  without the things you need to scrap at the beach. We have the “best of the beach”!  Stop by and visit with us next time you are “down by the sea.”
